So there really aren't that many pictures of different things. There are however many pictures of particular things. The first series of pictures are of Vallie in line or in a stockade (not much difference). Then me in a relationship way. Followed up by a real good band out of Epcot called Off Kilter. Celtic rock at its best.
The next set of pictures are for Vallie's dad who is, to put it mildly, a huge Indiana Jones fan. So while Vallie got to enjoy the show, I had to watch it through my tiny LCD screen on my camera and take a couple hundred pictures. Not all of them came out so only the best are here. I usually do better for pics but I had to use the digital zoom as I was about 75 yards from the action. The first series is from the opening of Raiders of the Lost Ark.
The second series of pics are from the fight scene in the souk of Cairo. The last two pics are from a stunt of a truck flipping and catching on fire.
I don't even know why I bother describing these. Have you not seen the movie? Cause if you have the scenes should be self explanatory. If you haven't seen the movie, well it won't make much sense so go rent it. I like the last pic in this series though..
Then Friday was spent with Anya at her school in the morning for the Easter Egg Hunt, and the afternoon was spent shopping. Mainly because Anya went after her penny in the fountain at the mall and needed some dry clothes.
Now on this trip I had been dropped on the Tower of Terror and escorted through the Haunted Mansion but neither scared me as much as Sleeping at the "Guru Cult Hotel". We were driving back from Ft. Myers to Knoxville and needed a place to stay for the night. So about midnight we started looking for a motel, only to find them all booked up in Valdosta and Tifton, GA. One hotel though said that at exit 45 there was a Red Carpet Inn with rooms. Little did we know then that we were being directed to a hotel that Mr. Bates would think twice about staying in.
Pictures of the room below, taken panoramic style (that's in a circle) just don't do the room justice. From the shag carpet that was thick in some areas and flat as a rock in others, to the milk that was in the dorm fridge and 2 weeks past due. I will say this as it was a relief, the bed did not bite back, though I did check above the headboard for secret panels so the manager could slay us in the night with an ax. Trust me this place would make anyone paranoid.
