I hate people who force feed you cheesy wav's and midi's through their web pages.  But then again I like to listen to music and I am also interested in what other people listen to.  So I compromised, included below are a number of my favorite songs.  It is not an all encompassing list, just what I have had time to put up.  The are all Real Audio Format

Blame it on me - Barenaked Ladies: One of my favorite songs.  I like it for its simple melody and funny ass lyrics.

When You're Evil - Voltaire: Gothic with a sublime undercurrent of sarcasm

Ex Lover's Lover - Voltaire: Another Gothic song about that ex's new boyfriend.  A universal situation made light, sort of.

Regrets - Cruxshadows: Some friends of mine have a band, it just happens to be Gothic ok?

Red Right Hand - Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds: Ok, yes, this is also Gothic

Man In The Long Black Coat - Bob Dylan: Yes, it's Dylan, but its also Gothic.  I have a quartet of stories that were inspired from this song.

Fly Me To The Moon - Frank Sinatra: A classic by any standards.

Snow In New Orleans - Mike West: A song that fits a memory of mine from the same city.  Beautiful.

Orpheus And The Gig From Hell - Randy Pease: A modern ballad that blends Greek Mythology with the trials of being a modern musician.

The following songs are from The Summit album, a live recording of the Rat Pack in concert.  If you don't know who the Rat Pack is, they are Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr.  There were others in the Rat Pack but they couldn't sing and were only in the buddy pictures

Medley - When You're Smiling, The Lady Is A Tramp - Dean Martin

Medley - Volare, An Evening In Roma - Dean Martin

Medley - Rat Pack Medley Of Songs - Frank, Dean and Sammy

Me And My Shadow - Frank and Sammy

Sam's Song - Dean and Sammy

The following pieces are stuff I recorded on my computer.  It is pretty much me reading selected pieces from my journal.  Except for the "How to leave the planet" which was written by Douglas Adams for a shoe ad.
